Exposure:

 

LRGB: 30x1m, 10x1m, 10x1m, 10x1.6m.  RGB binned 2x2. (Long Exposure)

RGB: 25x10s, 25x10s, 25x16s.  (Short Exposure)  -25°C, 2.65 arc-sec./pixel

 

Processing:

 

Acquired in Maxim, reduced, aligned and combined in Mira, RGB combine in Maxim, L+RGB combine, curves, levels, bloom repair and other adjustments in Photoshop.  Layering was in Photoshop using techniques outlined in January, 2001 Sky & Telescope.

 

Hardware:

TV-140 5.5” f/5 APO refractor, ST-8E NABG/CFW-8A CCD camera, AP900GTO mount.

 

Software:

TheSky v.5.00.014, FocusMax 2.0, RoboFocus 3,13, MaxImDL/CCD v.3.02, Mira v.6.0.9.5, Photoshop v.6.0.1
